Keith Moore
Keith Moore grew up and lived most of his life in Phoenix, AZ. Keith was eight when he sensed God’s love for him, and surrendered his life to Christ. Keith and his beautiful wife, Ginger, met in high school and have been married since 1978. They have two great adult kids, Christopher and Tiffany. He and Ginger now live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a suburb south of Denver. Before coming to World Orphans in 2009, Keith served as the Pastor of Small Groups for church plants in the Denver area. Prior that that he served as the minister of education and administration at churches in Texas and Phoenix. Keith is a graduate with a MA in Christian Education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He also graduated with honors with a BS in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to his full time ministry, Keith spent twenty-two years serving the citizens of Maricopa County as a Deputy Sheriff. He retired from the Office in 2002 at the rank of Lieutenant. During his career with the Office he served in various capacities from patrol to several detective assignments and detective sergeant positions including general investigations and homicide. As a Lieutenant he commanded the Civil Section. Keith has lead and participated in outreach and missions projects in the United States and internationally. The projects were focused on strengthening the indigenous church and caring for orphans. Keith has a burden for orphans and vulnerable children that began when studying the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. Keith believes that God has a heart for the orphan and calls the church to be obedient to His call to care for the orphan. And that Christ intended to change the world through the local church; that any strategy should identify the local church as the instrument of change, and focus on the gospel of Christ as the source. Keith loves to ride mountain bikes, most outdoor activities, hiking and camping, traveling and getting to meet new friends. Keith hopes that the reader does not see this bio as self inflating, but as it was intended; to glorify God through telling a little bit of the story of transformation that God has done in a common man. “For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21.
