Lev. 27- Everything and everyone has a redemption value.
Thank you Jesus for paying mine.
Ps 143:10 “Teach me to do your will, For You are my God; Let
Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Does that means that we will tread
on uneven ground, but the Spirit of the Lord can level things out for us, or
take us to level ground?
Mark 12:18- Some Sadducees (who say that there is not
resurrection)” What a hopeless state of being. What is there to hope for if
there is no eternal future beyond this existence? Our hope in God goes beyond
this life. Jesus said “When they rise from the dead, they neither marry not are
given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.”
Now that is something to look forward to. No matter what our
“status” is on earth, our redemption has been paid. We will be like angels that
can be in the presence of God without fearing death. Finally, God will have His
way and have His creation, holy and sanctified around him.
Thank you Lord, for the redemption You paid on
the cross. It gives everyone access to Your Father and eternal life. You have
given me a life worth living here and now, being directed to the level ground
and guided by Your Spirit. Eternity with You begins now, we will have to
experience death, some what like you did, but we will also get to experience
the resurrection like you did too. That’s something to have hope in. Thank you.
